02BOOK RENTAL · READING SPACE

Sunder Rup Pustak Parab

Access books through flexible rental plans and enjoy a space to read. Choose annual membership, a refundable-deposit rental plan, or Sunday reading at the centre.

One For One — annual membership+
  • Membership costs ₹1,000 and remains valid for one year from the membership date.
  • Submit a membership form with a copy of your Aadhaar card directly at the institute. The website does not collect Aadhaar documents.
  • Members pay 10% of a book’s MRP per week, a 50% discount on the standard weekly rental.
  • Regular member readers may choose one surprise gift from four alternatives at the end of the membership period.
SD — refundable security deposit plan+
  • Non-members deposit the MRP of the borrowed book and pay the applicable rent.
  • Rental is 20% of the book’s MRP per week.
  • The security deposit is returned when the borrowed book is submitted back. Membership benefits do not apply.
OS — Sunday reading at the centre+
  • Visit on Sunday during the institute’s working hours, choose a book and read at the centre.
  • Return the book on the same day before leaving.
  • One-time reading charge: ₹100 for non-members and ₹50 for members. Contact the institute for current Sunday hours.
